Requirements
Must:
- I seek candidates with experience in supporting Integration, Test, Verification, and Acceptance activities in complex airborne, aerospace, or defense projects.
- Candidates should have experience in relating Integration and Verification evidence to the delivery and Acceptance of a system against hierarchical requirements.
- A strong background in requirements capture, traceability, and verification is essential.
- I expect a good understanding of complex system integration, validation, verification, qualification, and acceptance in complex programs and trials.
Responsibilities
- I need you to support Integration, Test, Verification, and Acceptance activities in the assigned program.
- You will assess and plan verification activities to demonstrate that requirements have been satisfied.
- I require you to provide support to assist with progressive acceptance against internal and customer requirements.
- You will help write and/or review documents such as Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Specs, and other contractual deliverables.
- I want you to plan, execute, and report on integration laboratory and 'live' trial activities to meet the defined requirements and adhere to the program schedule.
- You will review outputs from LRU level activities to support System Level Verification and Acceptance.
- I trust you to support Network Accreditation and Qualification of the System and take responsibility for assigned verification activities, ensuring the closure of any associated failures.
- You will populate the Requirement and Test Management database to capture Verification evidence and Acceptance Cases in a pre-defined structure.
- I expect you to report progress and blockers to internal stakeholders and occasionally external stakeholders.
- You will support and/or lead internal meetings, including the preparation of documentation and review/presentation material.
- I need you to identify potential problems/issues and work to resolve them, escalating as appropriate.
Description
This role is an opportunity to work with a manufacturing business, developing and executing test procedures for software-based avionics equipment. You'll have the chance to engage with customers, support meetings, systems integration, and conduct product verification/validation trials. You will work under close guidance from project leads and subject matter experts but will be responsible for delivering your allocated tasks to meet project milestones. The contract length is for 6 months, and the hourly rate ranges from £55-65 per hour inside IR35.
