Satellite Systems Test Engineer

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a proven ability to write test sequences/scripts that will be used for executing spacecraft tests, including Fault Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR) from the Central Checkout System (CCS). Familiarity with programming languages such as Elisa, C, or Java will be advantageous. Additionally, we expect a working knowledge of TMTC databases. Candidates should be capable of preparing test procedures and sequences from test specifications, writing test reports, and supporting both test and non-conformance reviews. Desirable technical knowledge includes spacecraft systems like Data Handling, Packet Utilisation Standard, Data Bus Communications (1553), Spacewire, Attitude & Orbital Control, Star Trackers, Gyros, Momentum Wheels, power systems, batteries, Solar Arrays, Thermal Control, heaters, thermostats, FDIR, and Spacecraft Configuration Vectors. Experience with programming and scripting languages, especially Linux/Unix bash scripts, is considered an advantage. While knowledge of languages such as C, Java, Python, TCL, and VBA is useful, it is not essential. Furthermore, applicants should possess insights into Electrical/Spacecraft Systems fault investigation and test sequence debugging, along with familiarity in environmental and launch test campaigns. Comfort with both Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as experience in system testing and verification, is required.
