Requirements
Must:
- I require considerable knowledge and skill in one high-level programming language, with proven expertise in C and C++.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems is essential, while familiarity with VxWorks is desirable.
- I expect strong capabilities in utilizing high-level design methodologies, such as UML.
- Comprehensive understanding of the full software lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and integration, is necessary, along with knowledge of various software lifecycle models (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).
- Familiarity with appropriate software standards (e.g., ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207) is expected.
- I prefer candidates with a comprehensive understanding of configuration management and experience using configuration management tools; knowledge of ClearCase would be an advantage.
- An understanding of model-based techniques is also desirable.
Responsibilities
- You will perform software design, development, documentation, integration, and testing activities.
- Your role includes design verification using a combination of simulation, analysis, and test techniques.
- You will be tasked with generating design documentation and technical reports.
- Interfacing with related disciplines and assisting in the development of higher-level system designs will be part of your duties.
- You will also assist in developing technical requirement specifications and support system integration activities.
