Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in software engineering and its realization
- Experience with C++ programming
- Familiarity with software architecture models
- Collaborative and open approach to development with strong teamwork skills
- Knowledge of Real Time Multi-Threaded Applications (preferred but not essential)
- Experience across the entire software development process (preferred but not essential)
- Familiarity with new tools and techniques for process improvement (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with other programming languages such as Ada (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C or IEC61508 (preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of restricted coding standards such as MISRA C++ (preferred but not essential)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Command and Control architectures for next-generation Air Defence Systems
- Collaborate with experienced software, systems, and electronics engineers
- Maintain momentum during development projects
- Engage with requirement authorities and participate in automated target integration and proving
- Document all processes effectively
- Contribute to a proactive and innovative team culture
