Requirements
Must:
- Must be eligible for BPSS and SC clearance.
- Competent and experienced in supporting MS Windows desktop operating systems and the MS Office suite of products.
- Familiar with MS Windows Server fundamentals, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Print services.
- Skilled in the installation and support of peripheral devices.
- Multi-skilled IT background, capable of adapting to varied support and deployment tasks.
- Strong customer service focus, ensuring high-quality service delivery to customers and stakeholders.
- Desirable: HMC or Level 4 Diploma (or equivalent IT-related certification).
Responsibilities
- I will maintain the station-based IT infrastructure in conjunction with centrally-based resolving teams and hardware maintainers.
- I will deliver system health through a systematic approach to housekeeping, systems administration, and support.
- I will participate in delivering the IT requirements for station projects and provide site-based assistance for centrally managed projects.
- I will provide desktop and laptop user support, including networking, user account rollout, and application support.
- I will carry out laptop updates, peripheral installation, and hardware swaps, including leasing and large-scale hardware rollout.
- I will support server management and network-related tasks.
- I will manage mass rollout and deployment projects, ensuring smooth delivery and minimal disruption.
- I will ensure excellent customer-facing service delivery, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support end users.
Description
- This is a 12-month contract based in Hartlepool, Durham, with a rate of £283/day (Inside IR35). The role requires you to be on-site for five days a week.
