Group Data Governance Manager

In this role, I will expect you to oversee and implement data governance frameworks, ensuring data integrity and compliance across the organization. You will manage the rollout of a Data Governance Programme and measure, track, and improve data quality globally. It will be your responsibility to influence those responsible for data quality and management in business unit teams, sharing your expertise to achieve business goals while maintaining a consistent data governance strategy across the business. You will track and manage data quality and data management-related risks, provide leadership to members of the Data Governance Committee, and manage Data Governance and Data Quality projects. Establishing KPIs to measure Data Quality, creating projects to improve them, and monitoring and reporting on them will also fall under your responsibilities. You will work with colleagues to develop the enterprise data model, establish and lead a Data Governance Council, and solidify Data Management/Governance roles and responsibilities. You will also establish data governance processes, including decision-making forums, escalation paths, and data quality issue resolution. Rolling out a data governance platform, including MDM, across the organization, and providing leadership and guidance to colleagues within the business unit D&A teams managing MDM will be vital. Additionally, you will work closely with the Group Enterprise Data Architect, business unit Heads of Data, DPO, and Infosec teams to uphold data integrity, privacy, and security.
