ICT Technical Analyst

As a candidate for the ICT Technical Analyst role, you will need to meet the following criteria: - Be educated to at least HNC/HND or equivalent in Computer Science or a related subject, or possess equivalent experience in managing application system software. - Demonstrate an understanding of how commercial off-the-shelf software applications are managed and maintained within an enterprise environment. - Show proficiency in supporting, administering, building, and configuring server-based ICT solutions, services, and technologies. - Have experience that includes computing, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software (both commercial-off-the-shelf and open source), as well as virtual and cloud computing such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). - Possess knowledge of information security and security controls used to mitigate threats. - Ability to identify and address technical problems, taking ownership of resolutions and consulting specialists as necessary. - Use appropriate design standards and methods effectively to ensure resource efficiency and system integration. - Understand system integration processes and the challenges associated with designing, building, and testing interfaces. - Have a good understanding of various technologies, enabling you to effectively diagnose root causes and break down problems into their component parts. - Desirable: Familiarity with scripting tools and the ability to write prototype code.
