UK Technology Chief Information Officer

- I will rely on you to define, develop, and practically implement state-of-the-art strategies to solve complex and ambiguous problems using a modern set of technology platforms. - Building a great engineering team that delivers excellent results to difficult problems across multiple functions and geographies will be a key focus. - You will be responsible and accountable for the full lifecycle of UK DBB Web Channels, UK DBB Mobile, and Kinetic, including strategic design, build quality, and service uptime metrics. - Supporting the UK COO and Global CIO with evidence of compliance with SMR accountabilities related to the Technology Control Environment is crucial. - You will assist the UK Regulatory team with reporting requests related to technology strategy, resilience, or customer-impacting incidents. - You will drive delivery against a digital-first strategic operating plan that ensures resources (capability, people & funding) improve current customer journeys and new features. - Providing thought leadership for the team and designing, developing, and implementing state-of-the-art approaches to solving complex problems will be expected. - Managing the annual budget, balancing the design and development of new services with managing and supporting existing services, will be part of your responsibilities. - You will optimize resources globally to create an integrated team and manage the efforts of global teams across all aspects of data processing, design, development, acquisition, testing, conversion, and production support. - Promoting technology sharing and clear operating environments to achieve greater cost efficiency will be a key task. - Providing senior management with an overall comfort level and technological positioning of the company relative to the mission and industry will be essential. - Leading and developing an effective global team through communication, performance management, development plans, and recognition practices will be part of your role. - You will need to manage multiple applications within tight budgets and time frames.
