Configuration Engineering Lead

In this role, you will be responsible for the line management of the Configuration engineers, ensuring their safety and that they meet the expectations of the Head of Engineering. You will manage capability needs in the Config function and build plans to address any identified gaps. Career management of the Config function will also be under your purview, which includes organizing internal/external training on capabilities, processes, and tools. Resource management involves planning and recruitment, as well as ensuring functional delivery by allocating SQEP resources appropriately to various projects and functions. You will act as the project assigned functional lead for the most complex projects, review documentation, designs, and deliverables, and approve project plans tailored to the function. Additionally, you will perform Design assessments/audits, manage asset tools, and develop relationships with other managers within and outside of engineering to support project delivery and meet organizational objectives. You will ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and company policies applicable to the Config function.
