Requirements
Must:
We are seeking candidates with experience in a Data Engineer or Data Engineering role. You should have a strong background in working with large and complex datasets, as well as proficiency in Azure, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft SQL Server. Familiarity with Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and Database Design is essential. Additionally, you should be skilled in Python or PySpark and have experience with Azure Blob Storage and Azure Data Factory.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work with various data technologies to ensure efficient data processing and storage. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key as you develop ETL pipelines and maintain data integrity. Your goal will be to deliver high-quality data that can be leveraged for analytics and business decision-making.
Description
This is a permanent position based in the West Midlands, specifically in the Birmingham/Solihull area. The role offers a hybrid work model, requiring you to be in the office 1-2 days per week, so proximity to Birmingham is important. The salary ranges from £50,000 to £70,000, accompanied by a car allowance of £5,000 and a 15% bonus.
