Requirements
Must:
- Experience of working in a credit risk role
- Experience with SQL, SAS, SAP, or an alternative Analytical Toolkit
- Ability to articulate information both verbally and in written format
- Experience in engaging and influencing key stakeholders
- Knowledge of Financial Services
- Understanding of the value drivers across mortgages and savings products
- Experience operating in an analytical environment using large and diverse data sets
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Highly numerate with knowledge of profit and loss drivers
Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst in Value Management, I will help identify opportunities across our core products of Mortgages and Savings to maximize commercial value. I will navigate key stakeholders, multiple systems, and diverse data sets to assess and propose appropriate recommendations on changes to our member propositions. My role will require me to be naturally inquisitive and skilled in data interrogation, along with possessing great influencing and negotiating skills to gain recommendation acceptance from stakeholders. I will also need to step back from the details and see the bigger picture, balancing the commercial value of products against the value for our members and the purpose of our organization. Working within a small team will enable me to evolve my role, drive change, and make a significant impact while building relationships across various business areas.
