Requirements
Must:
- I have 5+ years of experience in server-side development with Java, Spring, and related open-source tools.
- I possess deep expertise in Java 21+, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, SQL, Git, Maven, and AWS.
- I have strong knowledge of cloud design, scalability, performance, and security best practices.
- I am familiar with tools such as RX Java, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform.
- I have a solid grasp of design patterns, web security, and modern development practices.
- I demonstrate a proven ability to learn quickly, solve complex problems, and share knowledge within a team.
- I am passionate about building technology that makes a real impact.
Responsibilities
- I will deliver robust, secure, and scalable backend solutions using Java and open-source technologies.
- I will collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to shape roadmaps and define solutions that deliver real value.
- I will provide accurate estimates, validate team estimates, and keep projects on track.
- I will guide and mentor developers, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
- I will support the Tech Lead, ensuring quality across functional, performance, and security requirements.
- I will step in as Tech Lead when needed, supporting planning, team discussions, and project delivery.

We are currently working with an international e-commerce brand as we look to recruit a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Tech Team. In this role, I will shape high-quality solutions, mentor others, and play a key part in moving our product forward. I will be central to designing scalable systems, championing best practices, and collaborating closely with product managers and stakeholders in a truly agile environment.
