Must:
We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in SQL and modern data engineering practices. You should have a background in building and maintaining data pipelines, as well as experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure. The ability to work across both legacy and modern data stacks is essential. While knowledge of the insurance sector is a bonus, it is not a requirement.
Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in transforming our data landscape. Your responsibilities will include establishing data governance and a comprehensive data catalogue, building modern and scalable data pipelines—especially those related to Lloyd's of London data—and developing a new cloud-native data architecture focused on Azure. You'll be evaluating and implementing suitable technologies for long-term scale and performance, while also defining and embedding best practices across the data function.
