Requirements
Must:
We require candidates who have a comprehensive understanding of PC hardware, software, operating systems, directory services, printing, and applications. You should possess experience in desktop and laptop installation, manage end-user schedules for upgrades and refreshes, and perform inventory on existing systems and configurations prior to any upgrades. Familiarity with printer support, network configuration, driver installation, and vendor coordination for faulty devices is essential. A solid grasp of Windows 10/11, Android OS, Mac OS, MS Office, basic LAN/WAN issues, Wi-Fi configuration, application software configuration, VOIP phones, and software installations is expected. Furthermore, the ability to provide both onsite and remote technical assistance to end users is crucial.
Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing break/fix support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals. This includes re-imaging devices, reinstalling, and configuring applications as necessary. You will troubleshoot Windows OS, hardware, and enterprise applications and coordinate with third-party vendors for escalations and hardware replacements. Documentation of issues and resolutions in an IT service management system (like ServiceNow or Remedy) is also part of your duties. You will manage the ticket queue to ensure timely resolution and closure, addressing end-user requests for updates on ticket statuses as needed. Additionally, you will develop standard configurations and documentation, as well as installation and configuration procedures.
