- Strong Rust or C++ (willingness to learn Rust if new to it)
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Computer Science background
- Linux experience (nice to have)
- Industrial/PLC knowledge (desirable)

- Developing diagnostics and feedback systems for the full AGV fleet
Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Birmingham on an exciting Autonomous Guided Vehicle (AGV) project. Imagine multiple AGVs all running in sync, in real-time. This is a huge engineering challenge and plenty of fun. Experience with industrial systems or PLCs is a significant plus. This is a chance to make a real impact in an SME environment, working in a supportive team on cutting-edge engineering problems. The contract is for an initial duration of 3 months, with a rate of up to £650 per day (Outside IR35), and requires 3 days onsite. We are ready for you to start ASAP.
