Must:
We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, including at least 3 years focused specifically on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL, App Services, and Storage Accounts. You should have scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and system administration tasks. Additionally, solid networking knowledge, including VPNs, VNet peering, Load Balancers, DNS, and Azure Firewall is essential. Familiarity with identity and security management, such as Azure Active Directory (AAD), RBAC, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud, is also required. You should have a good understanding of cloud cost management and FinOps best practices, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will need you to design, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure solutions, including Azure Virtual Desktop, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency. You will develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep to streamline infrastructure provisioning and configuration. You will implement and maintain Azure Virtual Networks (VNet), ExpressRoute, NSGs, VPNs, firewalls, and identity access controls to safeguard our cloud environments. It will be your responsibility to set up monitoring and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track system health and performance. Additionally, you will design and implement backup, failover, and disaster recovery strategies utilizing Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and Backup services. You will ensure adherence to cloud governance, cost optimization, and compliance policies within the Azure environment while providing Level 2/3 support for cloud infrastructure, resolving incidents and performing root cause analysis.
Description
We highly value candidates with Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400) and those who have experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS). Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and strategies for migrating from on-premises to Azure will set you apart. Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and modern cloud security frameworks will also be advantageous.
