Requirements
Must:
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with Active Directory
- Experience in desktop support and laptop builds
- Proficient in Windows laptop builds
- Ability to deploy iOS/Android phones
- Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding
- Strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical users
- Good written and verbal communication
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks
- Relevant CompTIA and Microsoft certifications are advantageous but not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Create and manage user accounts and email mailboxes
- Maintain and update Active Directory
- Administer multi-factor authentication for all new users
- Set up and manage hardware for new starters
- Provide technical support to all staff, including password resets and general advice on Microsoft products
- Offer general user support
- Manage and maintain user assets
- Assist the IT team leader with larger projects
Description
As an IT Support Technician, I will be the first line of support for all internal users, managing user accounts and access, maintaining software and hardware, and ensuring all data is secure. This role offers a combination of office-based and home-based work.
