Requirements
Must:
- 4+ years of Java Development (Java 11+)
- Strong experience with the Spring Framework
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Kafka or equivalent messaging tools
- Experience with MongoDB or equivalent
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Previous experience in Banking or Financial Services is essential
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our teams to work on high-impact projects within our globally recognised financial institution
- Develop and maintain Java applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
- Implement Microservices architecture as required
- Utilise messaging tools, such as Kafka, for application communication
- Manage and interact with databases, including MongoDB
- Adhere to and participate in the Software Development Life Cycle processes
Description
We are currently seeking to onboard an experienced Java Developer for a long-term contract based out of our Birmingham office. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant projects within our organization. This role offers a competitive rate of £500/day via umbrella and requires 5 days onsite at our Birmingham location.
While experience with GitLab or similar tools and exposure to automation frameworks (JUnit, Mocking, Gherkin) is not mandatory, it would be a beneficial addition to your profile.
