Must:
We are looking for an experienced Server Support Engineer with expertise in managing Windows Server environments and IIS for web applications. You should be skilled in virtualisation technologies like VMware and Hyper-V for server and infrastructure management. A solid background in supporting websites and related systems is essential, along with proficiency in Remote Desktop, Active Directory, DNS, and other Microsoft services. Furthermore, you must have a proven ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues and adapt to new technologies.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to manage and support Microsoft-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting infrastructure issues, supporting web applications hosted on Windows Server and IIS, and maintaining our virtualised environments. You’ll also play a key role in remote support, assisting clients with their Microsoft infrastructure needs.
Description
This is a fully remote position, with an expectation of one visit to our head office in Banbury per quarter. We offer a competitive salary of £55,000, with additional benefits based on experience.
