Must:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-minded IT Systems Administrator to join our IT team. Suitable candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in supporting IT systems and services in a technical capacity, reporting to management. You should possess hands-on experience with VMware, Windows Server, MacOS management using MDM, FortiGate Firewalls, Aruba Switching and Wireless, and Veeam Backup.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the Trust's IT systems on a day-to-day basis, ensuring they are secure and reliable while maintaining appropriate service levels. You will manage Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, and VPN, supporting large-scale environments with approximately 2000 users. Your responsibilities will also include continuously reviewing our systems and recommending suitable development or project work to the IT Systems Manager and Director of IT. Additionally, you will perform daily checks, vulnerability reviews, and resolve system issues to maintain system integrity and availability. As the third-line escalation point, you will lead small-scale system projects, improvements, and provide technical training for other team members.
