Requirements
Must:
To be considered for this role, I seek candidates with commercial experience working with Umbraco .Net CMS, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with C# (Asp.Net, MVC, .Net Core). A good command of HTML/CSS/JavaScript is essential, and experience with modern frameworks such as Vue.js (or React/Angular) is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with Web API and Azure technologies is required, along with development experience using Azure Functions or associated technologies. Experience with MS SQL Server and CosmosDB is also necessary.
Responsibilities
In this position, I will assign you the ongoing development of our core digital solutions, primarily based on the .Net framework and API integrations. You will work on building prototypes and proof of concepts, including relevant documentation, to drive the development of complex features through interactions between various software systems, such as .Net, Dynamics, Umbraco, and APIs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as you'll engage with stakeholders frequently and integrate code between teams. You will also conduct and participate in code and architecture reviews, support continuous learning, and facilitate knowledge sharing across the team by providing technical feedback and assistance when necessary. There will be a clear progression path for you to advance towards a Lead position and management, should you desire.

I am recruiting a Full Stack .Net Developer with Umbraco CMS skills for a specialist not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals find local accommodations. This role is offered as UK Remote, but you should be prepared to commute to our Southampton head office as needed. I am committed to investing in your development, enabling you to expand your skill set and achieve certifications in Umbraco and other CMS platforms. You will receive 28 days of holiday (plus bank holidays), with the option to buy or sell 5 additional days. We also offer a pension match of up to 10% and flexible working hours.
