Must:
I am looking for a professional who has expertise in C# .Net Core backend development, with experience in creating highly available and scalable systems. A deep knowledge of Azure cloud-based services is essential, along with a solid understanding of SaaS and cloud deployment. I seek someone with familiarity in Infrastructure as Code (IaC); while we use Pulumi, experience with Terraform is also acceptable. You should possess experience with Kubernetes and Docker at scale and have a strong grasp of modern microservices. Additionally, I need a candidate who has led technical projects and has actively promoted best practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities
In this role of Lead C# Developer, I expect you to take a principal role in our team working on our flagship SaaS insurance platform, which handles 4 billion requests per month. The work will be challenging and complex, focusing on delivering the evolution of backend services that support large-scale calculation systems. You will remain hands-on while helping to set standards and providing technical project leadership within an Agile development environment, which encourages close collaboration among team members. The flexible work structure allows you to work from home two days a week while joining colleagues in the Reigate office for team meet-ups and stakeholder meetings.
