Requirements

Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical mindset who can think critically and communicate insights effectively. Ideally, you will have a background in Collections Analytics or Collections Strategy, although experience in financial services, utilities, or telecoms is a plus but not essential. Proficiency in SQL or Python (or both) is necessary, and experience with other tools or platforms would be beneficial. A degree with a quantitative focus or hands-on experience in data analytics will also be advantageous. Strong communication skills are essential, as is a proactive attitude—you should be comfortable taking ownership of your work and driving it forward. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Quicksight is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will use rich data sets to shape and refine collections and communication strategies tailored to different customer profiles. You will ensure that all strategies comply with industry regulations to deliver fair, positive outcomes for customers. Reporting on collections performance, recovery rates, and the impact of various strategies will be part of your responsibilities. Continuous testing and optimization of these strategies are central to your role, along with presenting insights to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. You'll support the wider Operations team by building and maintaining dashboards and reports to enhance performance visibility and facilitate smarter, data-backed decisions. Additionally, handling ad-hoc data requests and collaborating with colleagues to translate their needs into actionable analytics will be key components of your day-to-day work.

Description

We offer a competitive salary and a discretionary annual bonus scheme that rewards performance. Starting with 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, your allowance increases each year up to a maximum of 28 days. Benefits include life cover at four times your basic salary, a dental scheme, private medical insurance through Bupa, income protection, and access to the Help@Hand service for free GP appointments and counseling support. Employees can participate in our cycle-to-work scheme and a salary sacrifice pension plan. You’ll also have access to Perkbox, offering discounts on well-known brands, and can take paid volunteering time to engage with local charities. The casual dress code allows you to feel comfortable and confident while delivering outstanding customer service. Our company culture is vibrant, with a Social Committee that organizes events throughout the year, including quiz nights, team-building activities, and seasonal parties.
