Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience and certification in administering Windows Server infrastructure hosting environments (2008/2012/2016/2019).
- Working experience in administering Linux Systems.
- Experience with Two Factor Authentication (RSA) and PKI/Certificate technologies.
- Proficient in PowerShell with experience in developing automated processes.
- Experience administering DNS and DHCP.
- Good understanding of firewalls and network protocols.
- Knowledge of system security, system integration principles, and technologies.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Experience in installing, upgrading, and/or managing Forefront Identity Manager/Microsoft Identity Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to Windows Active Directory Domain Services and security infrastructure in a varied and growing IT environment.
- Liaise with other teams in both Support and Project areas to progress and implement changes and tasks.
- Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support of Active Directory Domain Services in all corporate environments.
- Provide support for Privileged User Account Management and corporate IdAM solutions.
- Respond to incidents and IT service requests, taking ownership of problems and resolving calls logged with the team.
- Assist with proactive monitoring and daily checks to avert incidents.
- Follow the corporate change process and ensure that changes are implemented in accordance with established processes.
- Help maintain the integrity of the Identity Management services by adhering to industry standards and recommended designs and best practices by vendors such as Microsoft.
- Be prepared to work outside of normal hours occasionally to support disaster recovery tests or critical project changes.
Description
We are looking for a skilled IDAM Engineer for a contract role, offering a daily rate of £450 - £550 inside IR35, based onsite in Gloucestershire. This position requires a valid DV clearance. You will be part of our dedicated Identity and Access Management (IdAM) Live Services team, responsible for maintaining and monitoring key components of our Identity Infrastructure. Your expertise will contribute to continuous service improvement within the team while ensuring that all supported components meet the necessary levels of availability and capacity. Additionally, you will engage with external suppliers to ensure that our organization derives value from these relationships.
