Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Shopify Developer who has proven experience in developing and customizing Shopify themes, particularly within the Online Store 2.0 framework. You should have strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and JavaScript. Experience with Shopify JSON templates and schema configurations is also essential. Additionally, familiarity with metafields, filters, and custom app integrations is important. A strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility is required. You should possess the ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, alongside excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will take the lead in redesigning and modernizing the GymSets Shopify storefront to align with our updated branding and design direction. Your key responsibilities will include building and implementing custom, reusable Shopify sections using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will also develop advanced collection filters to improve product discovery and utilize Shopify metafields and dynamic sources for better product data management. Collaboration with our marketing and design teams will be crucial in translating ideas into effective website features. You will ensure that site speed, accessibility, and SEO best practices are adhered to in all updates, integrate and optimize third-party Shopify apps, and maintain and document code for long-term scalability.
