Requirements
Must:
- You should be degree qualified in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in developing medical or health monitoring equipment is an advantage.
- You need to have experience in a software development or engineering role and an understanding of the development life cycle.
- A good knowledge of embedded software development (using tools like MPLAB and ST32), as well as testing and debugging, is essential.
- Proficiency in high-level programming languages, preferably C#, C++, and C, is required.
- Familiarity with software management systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub) and source code version control systems, particularly Git, is advantageous.
- Understanding communication protocols (network and serial) is beneficial.
- Experience in user interface design, database development, and software design methodology is a plus.
- A keen interest in IoT devices and wireless communication protocols (such as Bluetooth Low Energy and Wi-Fi) is encouraged.
Responsibilities
- You will provide software engineering input for both existing and new systems and products.
- It will be your responsibility to create documentation for specifications, proposals, test plans, and reports.
- You will support software management of change for both new and existing codebases.
Description

Our client, a global subsea/marine company based in Aberdeen, offers hybrid working options and flexible working hours, with an early finish on Fridays. In this role, you will be involved in developing new medical monitoring equipment technologies for marine, subsea, and offshore work environments.
