Must:
We are looking for candidates with essential skills in iOS application development using Java, Objective C, Swift, or similar languages. You should be proficient with Xcode and have exposure to continuous deployment methods such as Gradle or Jenkins. A solid understanding of Git is necessary, along with the ability to test your own code and perform unit testing. We value demonstrable experience working in an agile team following Scrum methodologies, as well as a proven track record of employing modern development methods like TDD or BDD. Additionally, the ability to contribute to the technical roadmap and architecture of our mobile solutions is essential. Desirable skills include front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as familiarity with languages such as C, C++, Scala, Kotlin, Python, or Ruby.
Responsibilities
As an iOS Developer, you'll be working within our existing team to design and develop end-to-end systems across mobile applications, including Pingit and our mobile banking services. Your role will involve both routine projects and exciting research and development initiatives utilizing Java, Swift, and Objective C for both Android and iOS platforms. You will collaborate with a team of solution architects, UI/UX designers, and fellow developers in an environment aimed at excelling in the mobile banking market. We expect you to support others within the mobile platform and thrive in a dynamic environment, focusing on delivering the best code possible in an end-to-end development setting.
Description
This is a contract position that will run until December 31, 2025, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring two days in the office located in Knutsford. The rate for this position is up to £386.40 per day (Umbrella inside IR35). Please note that all profiles will be reviewed against the required skills and experience.
