Requirements
Must:
- Excellent scripting skills in PowerShell and Python
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems administration within an enterprise environment
- Experience in the development and delivery of software using Agile methodologies
- Experience with Active Directory, PKI, VMware virtualization, and Windows Server 2019
- Familiarity with configuration changes via GPO, Registry, Filesystem, PowerShell cmdlets, or WMI
- Knowledge of Windows Update and patching mechanisms, including Windows Installer
- Experience with automation and configuration tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- Ability to script repeatable unit tests to exercise functionality
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Capability to create and maintain support and design documentation
Responsibilities
- Take product configuration design and package it for redeployment of software packages in an automated manner
- Own the delivery of a work package from design through prototyping
- Ensure work package meets functional and non-functional requirements
- Support user piloting and assist in production rollout
- Provide early life support for deployed work packages
- Deliver ongoing changes to the work package in response to user requirements
- Collaborate within a multi-skilled agile team and share challenges and solutions
- Script automated tests to validate functionality against desired and undesired outcomes
Description
We are a forward-thinking company based in Basingstoke, looking for a Workplace Integration Engineer to join our multi-skilled agile team. This 6-month role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a supportive environment. You will be supported throughout your journey as you tackle diverse challenges while working collaboratively with our team. This position offers an attractive daily rate of £650 inside IR35, umbrella only, and the opportunity to engage with current technologies and methodologies.
