We are looking for a candidate with:
- Recent startup or scaleup experience, ideally in 0→1 or 1→10 environments.
- A top academic background:
- UK: Russell Group or Top 20 with strong academics (First or similar).
- Overseas: Top 100 global university.
- Exceptional Python engineering skills with deep-level experience.
- A strong background in Node.js and modern backend architecture.
- Clear, demonstrable AI build examples: what you shipped, how you built it, the stack, the architecture, and the outcomes.
- A founder, co-founder, or product-ownership mindset, demonstrating full accountability and small-team execution.
- Willingness to work on-site five days a week for the immediate future.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Architect, build, and ship real AI products, including:
- LLM-driven applications (generation, reasoning, orchestration)
- RAG pipelines, vector search, knowledge systems
- Multi-agent and agentic AI workflows
- High-performance backend systems in Python and Node.js
- Write code daily (approximately 80% of your time).
- Make technical decisions autonomously and operate like a founder rather than a traditional VP.
