Requirements

Must:
- I require candidates to have experience providing second and third line technical support in an IT environment. - Candidates must exhibit a strong understanding of hardware and software procedures in Computer Operations. - You should be familiar with managing onsite backup and restoration procedures, using appropriate software tools. - I look for skills in OS builds/rebuilds for Windows 7/10 and Windows Server 2003-2016, alongside the configuration and implementation of Anti-Virus technologies. - Effective communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for interacting with users, colleagues, and suppliers. - Experience in managing system capacities and performance through agreed procedures and tools is necessary. - A willingness to participate in the on-call rota and project assignments is required.

Responsibilities

- In this role, I will count on you to provide technical advice and guidance while supervising other Technical Support Analysts. - Your work will involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring adherence to security policies and best practices. - You will manage and analyze system performance, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently to meet service level agreements. - Collaborating with user representatives and facilities managers will be part of your responsibilities to plan and supervise installations and maintenance. - You are expected to produce technical reports for specialists and simpler reports for users and managers. - Managing user inquiries, prioritizing issues, and providing third line technical support for the onsite helpdesk will be vital. - You will work closely with system architects and suppliers, ensuring effective planning and implementation of major configuration updates.

This is a hybrid working opportunity based in Norfolk with a contract length of three months and a possibility of extension. The position is inside IR35, with a day rate of £127. As part of the Trust’s IT Technical Support Team, you will be crucial in ensuring the optimum use of the Trust’s IT systems while maintaining compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
