Requirements
Must:
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Purview
- Experience with data governance and data security tooling
- Knowledge of modern cloud platforms
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials
- Strong leadership and technical direction skills
- Ability to work closely with project teams and stakeholders
- Proficient in documenting technical architecture and data flows
- Experience with OneDrive and SharePoint migration
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and implementation of the organisations data discovery programme
- Own the configuration, deployment, and optimisation of Microsoft Purview
- Provide technical leadership across data security technologies
- Oversee technical investigations into data sources, systems, and repositories
- Work closely with the Business Analyst to translate discovery findings into technical plans
- Define and document technical architecture, data flows, and migration pathways
- Lead the technical aspects of migrating data from legacy systems to standard platforms
- Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and organisational standards
- Support the project team in delivering at pace and removing technical blockers
