Requirements
Must:
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Purview and data governance
- Strong understanding of data security tooling and modern cloud platforms
- Experience with data security technologies such as DLP, AIP, and cloud security controls
- Proven leadership skills in a technical environment
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials
- Excellent problem-solving ability and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills to work closely with project teams
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and implementation of the organisations data discovery programme
- Own the configuration, deployment, and optimisation of Microsoft Purview
- Provide technical leadership across data security technologies
- Oversee technical investigations into data sources and systems
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst to translate findings into actionable plans
- Define and document technical architecture, data flows, and migration pathways
- Lead the technical aspects of migrating data into OneDrive and SharePoint
- Ensure that all solutions align with security, compliance, and organisational standards
- Support the project team in delivering efficiently and removing technical blockers
