Requirements
Must:
- +5 years experience with software delivery in banking/finance/fintech
- Strong experience with DevOps practices
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Nexus/Sonatype, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Independent worker with a can do attitude
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to build good working relationships with team and stakeholders
- Knowledge of IT controls and best practices
- Experience in gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements
- Experience in process mapping and optimization within a DevOps context
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Familiarity with database concepts and ability to query and analyze data
- Experience with M&A, integrations, and divestitures is a plus
- Additional language skills are an advantage
Responsibilities
- Assist existing DevOps staff across a portfolio of projects
- Support analysis, planning, data extraction, app build, testing, and migration
- Provide post-live support for projects
- Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders
- Map, document, and analyze process flows to identify opportunities for automation
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Utilize various tools for project management and communication
- Troubleshoot incidents and develop effective solutions
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Description
We are a dynamic team based in Sheffield, offering a hybrid working model with three days onsite. We provide an engaging environment that values initiative and collaboration. Our team is committed to supporting diverse projects within the banking and finance sectors, and we are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join us on a contract basis until October 30, 2026. We offer a competitive rate of up to £368 per day (Umbrella, inside IR35), which reflects our commitment to attracting top talent.
