Requirements
Must:
- Ability to support and diagnose problems on Android phones, iPhones, laptops, desktops, video conferencing equipment, and various peripherals provided to the user base.
- Ability to repair laptops and desktops.
- Excellent administrative skills to complete all relevant paperwork and databases.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow call handling system.
- Security-minded approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to create and maintain processes and work instructions as required.
- Ability to function efficiently alone while also fitting into a motivated and experienced team.
- Willingness to apply for Home Office SC clearance / NPPV3 if not already held.
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Tech Bar Team Leader/Manager, assisting in ensuring the smooth operation of the project.
- Respond to user incidents and support other sites within a 1-mile radius, occasionally aiding the London HQ Tech Bar with incidents and change requests, all within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Monitor call stacks for your sites at all times, even during breaks, and escalate calls at risk of exceeding contractual targets to the Deskside Manager/Team Leader if necessary.
- Ensure all VIP calls are dealt with and updated within agreed timescales.
- Communicate potential issues and problems clearly to the Tech Bar Manager/Team Leader, including service issues, resource issues, and performance issues.
- Complete ServiceNow updates in a timely manner and ensure they meet required guidelines and expectations.
- Update the asset system accurately as per contractual requirements and ensure all goods are checked upon receipt and stored correctly.
- Meet your objectives and contribute to achieving team objectives.
- Complete all relevant administration tasks in a timely manner, including SST, sick certificates, and leave requests.
- Identify and discuss areas for improvement, potential risks, and cost-saving opportunities with your Team Leader/Tech Bar Manager.
- Manage your time effectively to ensure all assigned tasks are completed, and communicate any issues that may hinder this to the Team Leader/Tech Bar Manager for discussion of potential solutions.
Description
This is a six-month contract position based onsite in London, working five days a week. We are looking forward to having you as part of our team to maintain high standards of service and support in a dynamic environment.
