Storage Infrastructure Analyst

- I am looking for a candidate with demonstrable knowledge in their chosen technical discipline. Essential experience should include working in a complex, pressurised production environment. While financial services experience is desirable, it is not essential. - I require the candidate to have exposure to and application of IBM Flash Systems, particularly knowledge and experience of replication using global mirror, metro mirror, and change volumes. - The ideal candidate should also have experience with cluster management within Spectrum Scale, Oracle, and ESXi environments. - Additionally, exposure to Spectrum Scale protocols, including GPFS, NFS, and SMB in active-active topology is necessary. Familiarity with GKLM (SKLM) is advantageous. - It is crucial that the candidate is aware of how their actions can affect availability and has experience in the provisioning and redaction of storage across the IBM storage estate using all technologies. - The candidate must possess experience working with Linux command line technologies and be familiar with ticket management using ServiceNow. - Desirable qualifications include an appreciation of cloud technologies (AWS) and associated features, knowledge of AWS server administration, and some experience within an Agile delivery environment. - Understanding of VMware products including vSphere, vRealize, and related technologies, as well as familiarity with Cisco UCS & HPE infrastructure and virtualisation architectures will be beneficial.
