Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on with NetBackup/Commvault and Data Domain
- Strong DPS storage and virtualization knowledge
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS, Linux, and networking
- Experience with RPO/RTO design and regulatory audit needs
- Strong knowledge in DPS hardware installation and configuration
Responsibilities
- Design and operate backup policies, schedules, retention, and air-gap strategies
- Integrate with OpenShift (Velero/CSI snapshots) and databases for application-consistent backups
- Optimize performance, deduplication, encryption, and replication to DR sites
- Perform restores, DR drills, compliance reporting, and capacity planning
Description
We are a leading technology firm located in Sheffield, offering a hybrid work environment with three days per week onsite. We are looking for a Storage DPS Subject Matter Expert to support our enterprise data protection services. This contract position will run until September 30, 2026, with competitive pay up to £377.20 per day (umbrella inside IR35).
