Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Experience with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of serverless design patterns
- Expertise in integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, Event-Driven Architecture, messaging queues)
- Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, Zero Trust)
- Knowledge in identity management (OAuth, SSO, Azure AD)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains
- Experience with infrastructure as code and environment strategy
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture across all solution components
- Lead architectural design sessions, blueprint creation, and technical governance
- Define solution patterns, integration approaches, and technical standards
- Ensure security-by-design principles are embedded, including IAM and data protection
- Oversee integration architectures across APIs, data pipelines, cloud platforms, and microservices
- Act as final approver for technical design decisions and architectural reviews
- Work with security, infrastructure, DevOps, and engineering teams to ensure compliance
- Participate in vendor assessments and technology evaluations
- Manage architectural risks, technical debt, and system interdependencies
- Maintain technical documentation and architectural repositories to enterprise standards
