Service Designer

- I will need you to lead the service design of end-to-end services that meet user needs and deliver policy intent. - You will be responsible for mapping and analysing complex service ecosystems, identifying pain points, opportunities, and dependencies. - Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including policy, operations, product, delivery, system design, and user-centred design is essential. - I want you to design collaboratively and in the open, engaging and sharing knowledge with the whole team, while adhering to information security restrictions. - Mapping existing systems and processes (both online and offline) using verified information to provide evidenced 'as-is' will be part of your duties. - You will develop service blueprints, journey maps, and other artefacts to communicate service design concepts visually and in an easily understandable format. - Facilitating workshops and co-creation sessions with stakeholders and users is expected. - Aligning service design with organisational goals, technical constraints, and delivery capabilities is crucial. - I need you to advocate for user-centred and inclusive design practices across the organisation. - Supporting the development of service strategies and roadmaps for transformation is also part of your role. - Tracking pain points outside the scope of current delivery for future consideration is necessary. - Mentoring and guiding less senior service designers while contributing to the wider design community will be a significant aspect of your position. - Lastly, I expect you to ensure services are designed for scalability, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
