Requirements
Must:
We are seeking candidates who possess at least 5 years of unbroken residency in the UK. While transferable or Home Office clearance is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. Candidates should have a strong understanding of public sector security, including familiarity with the Cabinet Office's 'Secure by Design' principles. Additionally, knowledge and experience in the following areas are essential:
- Enterprise risk
- Infrastructure security
- Identity and access management
- Cloud security
- Container security
- Palo Alto offerings
- Data security
- DevSecOps
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as a senior security architect on a large, multi-million pound, multi-year programme within a UK Central Government department. You will be expected to produce design documents and review the designs created by others. Effective communication and teamwork are critical, as you will need to present complex issues in common terms to senior members of the team, clients, and partners.
Description
This position is hybrid, requiring you to be onsite in Southampton for 2 days per week. The contract duration is set until the 26th of February, 2026, with potential for extension. The daily rate for this role is £693 and it falls under IR35 regulations, classified as Inside IR35. A hands-on attitude and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this position.
