Requirements
Must:
- Deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors, Event Mesh)
- Proven experience leading complex integration projects within highly regulated or public-sector environments
- Strong understanding of integration architecture, standards, and best practices
- Experience producing architecture documentation aligned with frameworks such as TOGAF or similar
- Ability to lead technical workshops and govern integration backlogs effectively
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to senior audiences
- SC clearance or eligibility for SC clearance; candidates must be eligible to undergo full security vetting
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo security clearance procedures
Responsibilities
- Take technical ownership of the integration workstream, shaping the architecture and standards for SAP BTP Integration Suite
- Lead a team of integration developers, ensuring the delivery of robust, enterprise-grade solutions
- Lead technical design workshops and produce architecture documentation aligned with relevant frameworks
- Govern the integration backlog and act as the primary escalation point for technical issues
- Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, security specialists, and functional leads
- Ensure integration patterns meet government data standards and security requirements
- Champion best practices in error handling, monitoring, and performance optimisation
- Promote reusable artefacts and patterns across the programme
- Engage with stakeholders and present technical insights to senior leadership and client stakeholders
