We are looking for a Senior QA Lead who possesses strong expertise in test automation, software testing methodologies, and testing frameworks, particularly with tools like Selenium. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing tests for both frontend applications using tools such as Cypress or Selenium and backend APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured. It is critical that the candidate is a Sole UK National with active SC Clearance.
Responsibilities
As the Senior QA Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our product. This includes writing automated tests for both the frontend and backend, utilizing frameworks and tools to drive efficient testing. You will define test plans and approaches, collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects, and influence the overall testing strategy. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor junior QA team members in the future.
Description
This position is a contract role running until 31/03/2026, based in Bristol with a hybrid work model requiring one day a month onsite. We are focused on improving platform availability and driving productivity benefits through the experimentation with AI. The current project involves rebuilding an incumbent asset prediction tool, which will include revamping the application infrastructure, simulation model, and user interface. Your work will initially focus on delivering the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and planning for the full product build.
