Requirements
Must:
- Strong technical understanding of endpoint security, including hardening, tooling, and monitoring techniques.
- Experience working within large-scale or global enterprise environments.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect day-to-day technical work to broader business goals.
- Proven experience embedding practical security controls in collaboration with analysts and operational teams.
- Comfortable balancing high-level architectural input with hands-on visibility and governance.
- Familiar with enterprise-level security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Endpoint technology stack is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise in endpoint security controls, tooling, and decision-making.
- Partner with security analysts to design, embed, and operationalize foundational security controls.
- Maintain oversight of security operations to ensure alignment with long-term strategic goals.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of the organization’s security roadmap, ensuring controls are robust, scalable, and fit for the future.
- Translate technical and business needs into actionable security architecture guidance.
- Support governance and process standardization across shadow IT, asset management, and vulnerability management.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across architecture, engineering, and operational teams.
Description
We are seeking a Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a strong focus on endpoint security to join a critical security initiative. This role will play a key part in shaping and governing foundational security controls within our global enterprise environment. In this position, you will act as a strategic advisor and technical authority, supporting the development and implementation of endpoint security practices, vulnerability management, asset control, and governance, all in alignment with our broader 2026 security strategy. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who may not see themselves as a traditional architect but brings deep technical insight, strategic vision, and the ability to embed practical, scalable security controls. This project is critical, requiring strong governance and strategic input, along with the ability to navigate and influence a holistic, global security strategy. Experience in enterprise security practices and process-driven environments is essential.
