Must:
We are seeking candidates who have excellent communication skills, including presentation experience, and exceptional writing skills for documenting solution architectures and support information. A strong customer service focus and attention to detail are essential. You must have the ability to travel and demonstrate experience reviewing and creating design documents as a subject matter expert for infrastructure solutions. We require technical design, configuration, and implementation expertise within large-scale transformations and migrations. A strong knowledge and demonstrable experience with infrastructure architecture, implementation, and support expertise are necessary. Additionally, expert technical and leadership skills in technical risk identification and management, as well as the planning and management of technical infrastructure tasks, are essential.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Architect, I will be responsible and accountable for designing an integrated technical solution across all project streams or small programs. I will need to understand the technical problems, challenges, and complexities that exist within each stream and liaise with other technical stream leads to arrive at a cohesive technical solution that fulfills business requirements. My role will also involve promoting cooperation among technical stream leaders and, where necessary, coaching them to achieve the successful delivery of an integrated technical solution. I will identify, understand, and quantify technical risks, advising on strategies to mitigate those risks. Supporting the project or program manager in understanding the technical risks, dependencies, and issues will be part of my responsibilities, and I will ensure that all agreed business requirements are satisfied in the overall solution and are compatible with the project's technical architecture. Additionally, I will support the Solutions Architect in developing and enhancing standards and driving their adoption, perform audits, peer reviews, and due diligence as required, and leverage change programs to enhance our standards and policies.
Description
This role is a 6-month contract based in Barrow In Furness, with a hybrid working model requiring 4 days onsite. The rate is up to £570.40 per day umbrella inside IR35. It is essential that candidates hold active SC Clearance and are sole UK nationals (no dual nationalities).
