Responsibilities
As our Scrum Master, I will facilitate Agile ceremonies and support iteration execution, which includes running team syncs, retrospectives, and iteration demos. I will work closely with the Customer (Product Owner) to identify backlog updates and clear any dependencies. I will also promote best practices, mentor colleagues, and identify continuous improvement ideas, presenting these approaches to both internal and external colleagues to foster awareness. It is vital that I fully engage in the agile development approach, and I will seek to upskill in SAFe practices as needed (training will be provided). Additionally, I will support and engage with security, safety, and compliance activities, incorporating derived requirements into the evolution of the design throughout its lifecycle. I will be involved in estimation and the change control processes as required.
Description
The position is for a Scrum Master located in a hybrid working environment in Malvern, with a duration of 6 months and the potential for an extension. Occasional travel to Northolt will be required for customer meetings and 2-day PI planning events every quarter. The rate for this position is up to £500 per day via an approved umbrella company. I will play a key role in delivering a system of systems factory on a cloud platform focused on creating, managing, and distributing aeronautical information. My key activities will include facilitating team events, preparing for PI Planning, creating team PI objectives, reviewing final plans and business value, establishing and maintaining the team work board, and tracking and measuring team performance to implement continuous improvement actions.
