Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in developing complex FPGA-based systems, including design, implementation, verification, and validation. You should be able to collaborate with domain experts to develop conceptual solutions, typically captured as system models, and translate them into efficient FPGA implementations.
You must also have the ability to specify and configure System on Chip (SoC) designs, work with both soft and hard core CPUs (such as Zynq, Microblaze, ARM, RISC-V), develop and integrate peripherals, and utilize standard buses and interconnects (like AXI and AHB). Additionally, proficiency in specifying software interfaces is essential.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will take ownership of the development and delivery of complex FPGA designs. Your key responsibilities will include reporting, requirements capture, architectural and detailed design, implementation, verification, and validation of the solutions we create.
Description
We are looking for talented engineers who are passionate about developing FPGA solutions across various technology areas, including Radio Frequency/Optical communications, RADAR/Electronic Warfare, Global Navigation Satellite Systems, and Cyber/Crypto-Security. Projects will span all levels of technical maturity, from proof-of-concept demonstrators to full production systems. Desirable skills and experience include: - VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog - MPSoC/RFSoC or equivalent - Embedded Linux experience (e.g., Yocto/Peta) - Verification frameworks (e.g., UVM/OSVVM) - Embedded software development in C, C++, or similar - Digital Signal Processing - System modeling with tools like Matlab, Python, Numpy, or Scipy - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Configuration control, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Development practices - Domain expertise in a relevant technology area - Technical/team leadership experience If you believe this opportunity aligns with your skills and aspirations, we encourage you to submit your CV at your earliest convenience.
