Quality Engineer - London

- Create, maintain, and update comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software and functional requirements - Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to understand acceptance criteria and ensure complete test coverage - Perform both manual and automated testing across multiple platforms and environments - Identify, investigate, and document bugs, defects, and inconsistencies in software behavior - Log and manage defects using industry-standard issue-tracking tools - Communicate clearly with development teams to ensure defects are understood, prioritized, and resolved efficiently - Re-test resolved defects to confirm successful fixes - Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality - Ensure all software meets defined quality standards, user requirements, and organizational expectations prior to release - Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies
