Requirements
Must:
- ISTQB Software Foundation Certification
- Experience in Functional System Testing (writing and executing tests)
- Test Automation
- Proficiency with Test Tools (e.g. Postman)
- Agile methodology
- Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Data Migration
- Strong skills in SQL, Oracle, or other databases
- AWS Experience
- Ability to define and document Test Approaches and Test Completion reports
- Proficiency with JIRA, Test Management Tools (e.g., Jira Zephyr Scale), GIT
- ETL experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Integration Testing
Responsibilities
- Execute test activities and perform manual and automated testing on projects
- Work in Agile delivery teams and assist in writing a Test Approach document
- Define test activities, tasks, and deliverables
- Document test coverage matrix on projects
- Carry out Functional System Testing and Integration Testing
- Support E2E testing on one or more projects
- Analyze customer requirements and technical documentation
- Identify test scenarios and write test scripts (manual and automation)
- Prepare test data and execute manual and automated tests
- Provide regular test status reports to the Project Managers
- Identify and raise project and product risks and issues
Description
We are seeking a QA Tester for our ITEC Data Exploitation team located in Telford, with a duration of 6 months. This hands-on role involves working closely with delivery teams, key project stakeholders, and external supplier test teams to ensure successful project delivery and meet business objectives. We offer a dynamic work environment, emphasizing Agile principles, and support the development of our team members skills and expertise.
