Requirements
Must:
- Strong Python Developer (5+ years hands-on development experience)
- Strong AWS experience (hands-on, application-focused)
- Strong knowledge of boto3 API
- Experience building RESTful applications
- Strong understanding of testing frameworks, unit testing, and regression testing methodologies
- Deep understanding of AWS networking and IAM
- Strong knowledge of IAM concepts (roles, users, resource policies, SCPs)
- Experience hosting applications within AWS
- Recent hands-on experience developing AWS Lambda (serverless)
- Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation (preferred) or Terraform
- Strong understanding of AWS security best practices
- Flask API development
- Python-based API development within AWS environments
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to build and maintain applications using Python
- Design, develop, and deploy RESTful applications on AWS
- Implement testing frameworks and conduct unit and regression testing
- Ensure AWS applications are hosted securely and efficiently
- Develop and manage AWS Lambda functions for serverless applications
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools for application infrastructure management
Description
We are seeking strong Python Developers with deep, hands-on AWS experience for a remote, three-month engagement. This position requires an application-focused skill set, as DevOps or operations-heavy profiles are not suitable.
