Must:
I am looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data or Software Engineer with deep expertise in Power Apps and Python. You should have proven experience in developing solutions with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps) and strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Flask or FastAPI. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Dataverse, is essential. You should also be able to mentor and support junior staff in their technical development. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are a must, along with familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will build and maintain custom applications using Power Apps, integrating with Microsoft 365 and other data sources. You will develop robust, scalable scripts and tools using Python for data processing, automation, and analytics. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translating them into technical solutions is a key part of your responsibilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, product owners, and business users, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Description
This position is for a 6-month contract located in Telford, requiring two days on-site attendance each week. Please note that SC clearance is required for this role. If you have experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Data Factory), knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and version control (e.g., Git), or an understanding of data governance and security principles, these skills would be beneficial. The daily rate for this position is £506.
