Requirements
Must:
- Solid hands-on skills with React &/or Node.JS
- Proficient in JavaScript & HTML
- Experience with Python
- Knowledge of AWS, S3 & Lambda
- Familiarity with Redshift or equivalent SQL
- Leadership and team management experience
- Strong understanding of modern development practices
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack web applications and business tools
- Build high-quality, scalable systems
- Implement and maintain modern development, coding, and deployment practices across the team
- Develop and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions
- Establish development standards and implement coding practices
- Conduct version control and code reviews
- Oversee deployment practices and change management
- Mentor and manage junior developers
Description
We are a Northampton-based firm looking to hire a Lead Software Developer for a newly created position. We offer a competitive salary of £75,000 - £85,000, with up to a 15% bonus, in a hybrid work environment. This role combines both hands-on technical responsibilities and leadership opportunities. As we are located on the outskirts of Northampton, having your own transport is necessary to reach our office.
